| Tailor-made Blessing Ceremonies
I specialise in facilitating unique ceremonies which express each families’ characteristics and values. I do not believe that one size fits all.
Together we will design a ceremony which reflects who you are as people and expresses your hopes and dreams for your child.
To this end I do a great variety of ceremonies in a wide range of places. I have done blessings for babies, and children of different ages, in gardens, at Kirstenbosch, on wine estates, on the mountain, on the beach, in churches ... And I have used a wide range of symbols: flowers, plaits, stones, sea water, water from the family farm, or from overseas, candles, fynbos … Click here to read more about these symbols.

| Some factors to consider
These are some of the things you may like to consider in designing a unique ceremony for your baby / child:
Who are you? As a couple? As a family? As you welcome the gift of your child, what are the values which shape your lives and help you to celebrate experiences of your lives together?
Who is your child? How will you express how you child is unique and the personality you already see? What are your dreams for the future?
What kind of blessing do you imagine? Where it will be? What will the words and symbols convey? What makes it special and which friends and family might share in it?
I shall be happy to consider with you what you feel will help to make the ceremony a loving celebration of the life of your child. |
